UX/UI design for gesture enabled touchscreen interface for advance imagining software specifically XRAY/MRI/MRA hardware.

Project Overview
This project was a rebuild to an older UI system already implemented on outdated software and hardware. The goal involved a non-negotiable timeline and was launching on a newer, more enhanced version of in-house hardware. All software coding, UI design, and feature development had to be completed in parallel to the hardware. Because we could not extend the time on the current platform, we had very little room for error and had to meet our deployment date or else fail to meet delivery dates of our national customers.
Goals and Responsibilities
I was first tasked with conducting initial research for internal and external users in relation to Gesture UI to help establish overall scope in the creation of new features. After performing a heuristic analysis I designed the first initial wireframes to show stakeholders and review with Dev teams to help better understand the development timeline.

The Work
After scope was established I worked with other UI developers to refine designs and continued user testing for gesture controls through A/B Testing. We finalized basic designs and moved into software implementation and testing.

Outcome
Final user testing and designs were turned over to Dev teams to finish implementation to an eventual successful launch of new products. Final designs reskinned to match updated UI design specs and appropriate branding was applied.
